Los Cantos de la Era is situated between two remarkable natural parks – Sierra de Grazalema and Sierra de las Nieves, making it an ideal area for varied and comfortable active holidays. From our terrace, you can enjoy beautiful views of the Grazalema mountains, while the Sierra de las Nieves lies about 40 km away, towards Ronda.

There are walking trails for every level – from short nature walks to longer mountain hikes. The routes pass through forests, canyons, valleys, and peaks; offering peace, scenic views, and physical challenge.

Even if you’re not a seasoned hiker, we recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes for your holiday. Mountains have a special way of inspiring people – often, one look is all it takes.

Our favorite hike is Puerto de las Palomas, located in the Grazalema Natural Park. It’s a short and relatively easy 1.5-hour looped route located near the mountain top. The highest point is 1328 meters above sea level and offers a breathtaking 360-degree view of the area. With binoculars, you can even spot Los Cantos de la Era.
